Travellers Choice gets futuristic

Travellers Choice gets futuristic
By admin

The Travellers Choice Annual Shareholders' Conference is set to entertain members with a “technology futurist” and a “change navigator” late October when the group gathers on Queensland's Gold Coast.

Themed 'Back to the Future', this year's event will run from 31 October – 2 November at Jupiters Gold Coast.

Chief executive Christian Hunter says the aim will be to create a virtual time machine in which delegates can travel forward to explore the consumer trends and technological innovations of tomorrow.

“As independent travel agents and as a group we need to better understand the influence these changes will have on retail travel businesses,” Hunter said.

Keynote speaker will be bestselling author Michael McQueen, a leading specialist in demographic shifts, change management and future trends, who has helped some of the world's best-known brands navigate change and stay ahead of the curve.

Joining McQueen will be "technology futurist and digital evangelist" Chris Riddell who is the chief digital officer in Australia for Mars, who will provide members with insights and advice into how the digital revolution is continuing to impact businesses, and in particularly the way they engage and interact with customers.
