Uniworld has announced its latest ship to join the Boutique River Cruise Collection in Spring 2015.

The Super Ship, S.S. Maria Theresa, will sail on Uniworld’s European Jewels from Budapest to Amsterdam itinerary, as well as on Tulips & Windmills, Danube Holiday Markets and Enchanting Christmas & New Year's 

 

Rocky Mountaineer is starting off the season with a new Free Hotel Offer from now until June 27.

Those booking a qualifying holiday package of six or more nights receive an additional hotel night in Vancouver, BC.

Qualifying Coastal Passage bookings receive an extra night in Seattle, WA and a complimentary dinner and breakfast at the hotel. 

 

Tok Tok Vanuatu 2014 tradeshow will be held in Vanuatu from August 25 to 30, with organisers inviting the Australian travel trade to register now.

Wholesalers and travel industry buyers from Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Asia, the USA and New Caledonia will be able to interact with Vanuatu partners throughout the tradeshow to gain a firsthand insight into Vanuatu culture and attractions. 

 

Captain Cook Cruises and SeaLink have appointed Anthea Somerville as the new sales manager for USA, Canada, South America and Inbound based in Sydney.

Somerville joins the international sales team off the back of a 12 year career as Tourism Business manager for Qantas International Sales. 

 

 Fiji Airways has separated its sales and marketing functions from commercial strategy, revenue management and network & fleet planning.

The airline has appointed Otto Gergye to the newly created position of executive general manager, Sales and Marketing, with Franc Zvonar appointed to the position of general manager, Marketing. 

 

Air Canada has announced it will launch a new, non-stop service between Toronto and Rio de Janeiro as of December 11, 2014.

The year-round flights to Brazil’s colourful city will complement the airlines existing daily non-stop service to Sao Paulo.

 

Princess Cruises has announced it will be showing all 64 games of the upcoming FIFA World Cup on-board its Australian-based ships, Sea Princess and Dawn Princess throughout June and July.

The matches will air on the line’s signature ‘Movies Under the Stars’ outdoor screens, with space for hundreds of guests to enjoy the action.

 

Cruise Lines International Association Australiasia has signed on new executive partners, Kuoni Group Travel and Cruise Abroad.

Cruise Abroad is a wholesale cruise seller, while Kuoni Group Travel offers tailor-made outbound group tours for agents and wholesalers.
