Back-Roads Touring hosts Irish famil
By admin

Top performing agents from Back-Roads Touring were recently treated to a famil through Ireland to mark the close of a strong summer season.

Nine travel agents spend enjoyed a seven-day Corners of Southern Ireland tour, where the group was given an introduction into the country’s diverse land, scenery and people.

The trip included a visit to the Irish National Stud, a Cliffs of Moher Cruise, Jamesons Distillery and the seaside medieval town of Kinsale.

On the final night, dinner in Dublin was hosted by Tourism Ireland at Number 10, one of the city’s most exclusive private dining venues.

The agents received first-hand experiences to pass on to customers, which is a major strategy to boost travel to Ireland, according to Back-Roads Touring brand manager Hugh Houston.

“We’ve already increased our departures into Ireland for 2015 by 30% due to increased interest from customers to visit this country and discover its vibrancy,” Houston said.

“Corners of Southern Ireland is one of our strong sellers, offering the authentic route of Ireland.”

In the 2015 summer season, the Corners of Southern Ireland tour will depart monthly from April until October.
