Great Journeys New Zealand adds Scenic Plus product to Coastal Pacific and Northern Explorer itineraries

Great Journeys New Zealand (GJNZ) has expanded its premium product and introduced Scenic Plus to its Coastal Pacific and Northern Explorer rail journeys.

Scenic Plus first launched in April 2023 on the TranzAlpine rail journey, offering passengers a premium dining experience for passengers travelling by train through the Southern Alps.

The Scenic Plus product includes:

• A personalised and dedicated host service

• Regionally inspired cuisine paired with local wine and beer, bringing authentic flavours to the journey

• Premium boarding and luggage check-in.

The Scenic Plus experience is now open for bookings across all three trains and will be available for travel on Coastal Pacific from 14 December 2023, and on Northern Explorer from 15 May 2024.
