Helloworld director calls it quits

Helloworld Travel has announced the resignation of Mike Ferraro as an independent non-executive director.

Ferraro, who is the CEO and managing director of Alumina Limited, was appointed to the board role at Helloworld in January 2017.

Garry Hounsell, chairman of Helloworld, said: “Mike has done a great job helping steer the company through a very challenging period, and has decided to step down now that the company is through the worst of the pandemic to pursue other interests.”

Ferraro leaves Helloworld not long after the company recorded a very positive start to FY22, having seen significant gains in both revenue and total transaction value during the September quarter.
