Bunnik Tours kicks off first domestic trip

Bunnik Tours kicked off its first domestic tour earlier this month, welcoming 13 travellers to Tasmania.

The 14-day tour started in Tasmania on 4 December, and since then, the group have explored the state’s capital and its surrounds, including Mount Field National Park, Bruny Island, and Port Arthur.

The tour also saw the group travel through Bicheno, Launceston, Smithton, and Strahan last week.

With 25 years of international small group touring under its belt, Bunnik Tours launched two domestic tours (Tasmania in Depth and A Taste of South Australia) in July 2020.

“We’ve been showcasing the world to our travellers for years now, so we’re excited to be using our small group tour expertise to showcase Australia to our travellers,” joint CEO Dennis Bunnik said.

“Our domestic tours still encompass everything that our travellers know and love about Bunnik Tours, with special experiences a key focus to connect our travellers with the local people and culture.

“Our group in Tasmania at the moment have enjoyed cheese tasting on Bruny Island and have a couple of other special experiences to look forward to, including a ride on the famous Rack and Gorge railway.”

Due to high demand, three new dates for 2021 have been added for the 14-day Tasmania In-Depth tour and are selling quickly. Bunnik’s domestic tours have no more than 20 travellers and include all sightseeing, accommodation, many meals, and more.
