Viking revamps marketing tools for Aussie agents

Viking has stepped up its support for Aussie and Kiwi travel agents by revamping its marketing centre.

The enhanced platform now includes a brand new marketing toolkit purpose-built to provide guidance on how to access and use the many assets Viking makes available through its existing travel agent portal.

A new section – About Viking – has also been added to the marketing centre, providing easy to access information about the brand’s fleet and its Australian and New Zealand sales team.

“Our trade partners are the key to our success, and particularly in the current times, it is essential we continue to support them in driving business,” Viking’s trade marketing manager, Erin Kramer, said.

“Understanding the Viking brand and then having the assets to go to market is a key tool for agents.

“The new marketing tool kit is, in essence, a guide that showcases all of the tools we make available to our partners, where to find them, and how we can assist them in using those assets most effectively to market and sell the Viking product to their clients.”

Agents can use their existing portal login details to access the cruise line’s marketing centre and marketing toolkit.

The cruise line has also launched a new trade incentive aimed at generating bookings and boosting marketing activity in the leadup to Christmas.

All new river, ocean and expedition bookings and all rebookings made and deposited in the month of November will go in the draw to win a share of $1,500 worth of Rewards by Viking points.
