Railbookers has released a new selection of rail holidays and activities for your clients’ domestic holiday itineraries.

The new trips are aimed at independent travellers and work well as add-ons or an approach to slow and sustainable travel.

Narelle Ross, head of sales and marketing at Railbookers, said: “We’ve teamed up with Queensland Rail to offer our customers the experience of travelling along the east coast in comfort and in style. This is the perfect option for travellers who are looking for an overnight train journey”.

“We have seen the Australian demand continue to rise for Cairns, so we are excited to launch this for the domestic market.”

All three itineraries to Cairns, Queensland will include a Great Barrier Reef Cruise, Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail.

There is the option to stay in Port Douglas for two nights, which will also give travellers an Indigenous experience to Mossman Gorge. Daintree and Cape Tribulation Day trips are also on offer from Cairns.

For those looking for a quick escape, Railbookers has added a collection of short city getaways to Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane offering the best these cities have to offer.

These trips not only give travellers the opportunity to explore in and around major cities, but in many of the outlying regions as well, such as the Blue Mountains, the Great Ocean Road and Kangaroo Island.

Each itinerary is customisable so you can make your clients’ train holiday uniquely their own.

Railbookers host weekly a series of Webinars every Wednesday. Click here to register for the next one on 29 July.
