MIAT Mongolian Airlines is introducing the latest advanced mobile phone apps in partnership with Amadeus.

You’ll be able to get a variety of services, wherever you go, anywhere, to book flight tickets and get flight information.

This app gives you the following features.

  • Purchase and order flight tickets
  • Choose a passenger’s record and select seats
  • See Flight Status
  • Receive extra luggage information
  • Track your travels
  • Get acquainted with flight conditions and procedures

You can purchase a domestic Tugrug card (except Khan Bank) and Visa, Mastercard, JCB and Diners / Discover international credit cards and purchase tickets. This app is free and has a look at the brothers and detailed instructions for downloading from Google Play and iTunes’s AppStore.

AirAsia takes partnership with World Surf League to new heights

AirAsia and the World Surf League (WSL) Australia / Oceania are excited to announce the extension of their partnership to support the three Australian Championship Tour events in 2019.

As the Official Airline Partner of the WSL, the world’s best low-cost airline has unveiled an AirAsia Beach Club and the AirAsia Flight Cam at each event, beginning with the Quiksilver Pro and Boost Mobile Pro Gold Coast this week, and continuing through to the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach and Margaret River Pro.

AirAsia will also extend its ‘Surfboards Fly Free’ initiative in 2019, meaning surfers from Australia will be able to travel with their surfboard with no excess luggage cost, to any of the surfing hotspots found in AirAsia’s network of more than 140 destinations.

To celebrate the renewed partnership, AirAsia and WSL are offering two lucky winners with the chance to see pro-surfing at its best, including access to corporate hospitality and multi-day passes for each event. Hawaiian Airlines commences non-stop flights between Honolulu and Boston

Hawaiian Airlines will begin its five-day-a-week service between Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) on April 4, 2019, establishing its second East Coast gateway for Australian travellers visiting the United States Mainland.

Starting April 4, HA90 will depart HNL every day (except Tuesdays and Wednesdays) at 1:55pm and arrive at BOS the following morning at 6 a.m.

HA89 will depart daily (except Wednesdays and Thursdays) at 8:55am. However, Friday flights will depart at 8am. The flights will arrive in Hawai’i the same day at 2:35pm and the Friday flight will arrive at 1:40pm.

Hawaiian’s non-stop services from Sydney Airport (SYD) and Brisbane Airport (BNE) to HNL allows for guests to travel comfortably with same-day connections:

  • HA452 (SYD-HNL) arriving at 10.30am and HA90 (HNL-BOS) departing between 1:55 and 3:15pm, depending on date of travel;
  • HA444 (BNE-HNL) arriving at 11:00am and HA90 (HNL-BOS) departing between 1:55 and 3:15pm, depending on date of travel.

British Airways becomes first and only airline to receive autism-friendly award

In celebration of World Autism Awareness Day (02 April), British Airways has announced it is the first airline to be awarded the renowned ‘Autism Friendly Award’, accredited by the National Autism Society.

The airline has been recognised for the work it is doing to raise awareness of autism among its staff and for creating a personalised, seamless travel experience for autistic customers, allowing them to fly independently and with ease.

As British Airways celebrates its centenary year, the airline has been working closely with a number of specialist charities, including the National Autistic Society, and has implemented numerous enhancements to improve the experience for all customers requiring additional assistance, including those with autism and other hidden disabilities.
