Exclusive Small Group tours a HUGE hit for Greece and Med Travel Centre

Greece seems to be having a moment, right now.

And with beautiful views like this, we’re not surprised. Sailboats anchored in bay at Milos island

In fact, according to Boutique destination specialist, Greece and Mediterranean Travel Centre (GMTC), there’s been a HUGE surge in enquiries for its newly launched Exclusive Small Group tour itineraries for Greece in 2019.

“Our guaranteed departures, based on a minimum of four people and include a knowledgeable guide, luxury vehicle transportation and a host of unique experiences, has attracted solid interest since the launch of our 2019 Greece brochure,” said GMTC managing director Halina Kubica.

The Greece collection features three unique itineraries that tailor for small groups of up to 16 guests incorporating a 13-day Greek Islands tour, five-day Unique Classical Greece tour and seven-day Peloponnese Discovery tour.

“We customised these itineraries to cater for the Australian traveller who wants to experience all the key highlights of these destinations, but tour as part of a smaller group of like-minded travellers in a relaxed manner”, said Kubica.

Guests joining the Unique Classical Greece tour are spoilt with authentic experiences including overnight stays at traditional four-star guesthouses with a Greek breakfast, visiting an old village in Amfissa, getting to meet Greece’s last hand-made bell maker, exploring on a food tasting tour, taking part in a home cooking class, and enjoying lunch prepared by women from the local villages.

The Peloponnese Discovery tour is ideal for travellers wanting to immerse themselves in Greece’s history, with the region hosting the most important archaeological sites of Greece, including Olympia, Epidaurus and Mycenae.

Accompanied by an English-speaking tour guide throughout, guests will learn about some of the best ancient sites in the world, sample local wines at the famous Skouras winery and marvel at the spectacle of the Diros Caves.

“We are thrilled as to how well the industry has resonated with and responded to these special group tours and look forward to welcoming passengers to experience the real Greece this season”, added Kubica.

Agents interested in learning more about these programs can call the GMTC team on 1300 661 666 or download the full itineraries in the Greece 2019 brochure here.
