Emirates unveils top destinations for Aussies

Emirates has revealed the top 10 destinations in Europe for Australian travellers in 2017.

Australia’s love affair with travelling continues, with cities like London, Dublin, Rome and Madrid ranking among the most popular across the board.

Those on the East Coast were most likely to make a trip to London, with Madrid, Dublin, Paris and Rome rounding out the top five. Madrid proved to be the most popular for those on the West Coast, followed by Rome, London, Dublin and Manchester.

This comes as Emirates announces new fares from 21 June to 3 July to a number of destinations in Europe as part of its vast global route network.

Australians will be able to book return Economy Class airfares starting from $1,369 to Dublin, $1,379 to Rome, $1,389 to Madrid and $1,399 to London.

While return Business Class airfares start from $6,699 to Madrid, $6,719 to Rome, $6,879 to Dublin and $6,939 to London.

Emirates also recently launched a daily A380 service to Zagreb, Croatia which brings the airline’s European destinations to 39.

Emirates operates 77 flights per week from Australia to its hub in Dubai, with services from Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney, including seven daily A380 flights.

Sale fares are available on selected flights for bookings made between 21 June and 3 July, and for select travel periods. Other terms and conditions apply.
