The world’s most gay-friendly travel operators

The world’s most gay-friendly travel operators

Just as Sydney is about to be immersed in its annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras festivities, GayTravel.com has revealed who has been crowned in its Gay Travel Awards.

The trusted website for LGBT travellers launched its awards this year, and recognise travel and hospitality providers that embody an inclusive spirit and are constantly improving their services to make the LGBT community feel welcome.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Hawaii was named Hotel Collection of the Year, while Virgin Atlantic took home its international airport award, and Las Vegas snagged the crown for the Destination category.

GayTravel Chief Visionary Officer Steve Rohrlick said, “The goal of the GayTravel Awards is two-fold: first, to recognise and showcase select inclusive travel-related companies and destinations that resonate with our discerning audience; and second, to inspire other companies and brands around the world to continually raise their service levels and amenities while encouraging a broad spirit of inclusiveness.”
