Why one Norwegian passenger didn’t mind the delay

The Norwegian Star cruise ship, that was stuck at sea last Friday, is currently undergoing repairs to the ship’s azipod propulsion system while docked at the Port of Melbourne.

The majority of guests are staying aboard or spending time ashore in Melbourne, but surprisingly, some guests were actually stoked about the delay.

According to 7 News, Texan tourist, Francis Lahue is having a bloody brilliant time on the ship.

“It’s just super, I love it!” he told 7 News reporter on Live TV of his time aboard.

Remaining optimistic, Lahue sees the delay as just a minor hiccup on the journey to Auckland.

However, some guests do not share Lahue’s enthusiasm, choosing to disembark and be transported to the airport by the cruise line.

The ship is expected to depart during the afternoon on February 14‎, arriving to Auckland on February 18 to resume her scheduled itinerary.
