Burnie Travelcentre honoured with 2016 Pateman Award

Tasmanian agency, Burnie Travelcentre, received $3000 service grant when named the 2016 recipient of the Brian Pateman Agency Award for Excellence last weekend. Travellers Choice’s Managing Director, Christian Hunter, praised Burnie Travelcentre’s owner, Kathy Granger, for epitomising the group’s welcoming culture and strong work ethic. Previous finalists, Burnie Travelcentre have been recognised for their outstanding customer support services.

MTA Members immersed en España

Members of Mobile Travel Agents (MTA) recently took part in an exclusive, in-depth study tour of Spain, organised by Virtuoso supplier Valesa Cultural Services. Covering Spain from top-to-toe with visits to Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Malaga, Sevilla and Ronda, highlights of the 10-day program included: Cookery classes and wine tasting in Catalonia, a visit to Salvador Dali’s museum, a full-day tour of Madrid, the Picasso Museum in Malagao and much more!
