Giant G Adventures prize on offer

Travellers from Australia and New Zealand have the chance to win a whooping $45,000 travel prize thanks to the latest G Adventures campaign.

Last year the adventure travel company launched the successful ‘Make Your Next Step Count’ campaign, and this year G Adventures is upping the ante with the new campaign.

Dubbed the ‘Change the World’ campaign, it challenges travellers to ‘change the world, by having the time of their lives’ on a G Adventures trip.

To win the amazing travel prize, an eight-day Inca Discovery Tour along with flights for three lucky winners and of their three friends, people must enter on the G Adventures website before November 30.

G Adventures Managing Director Australia and New Zealand, Adrian Piotto said the adventure travel company wants to encourage travellers to have the time of their lives and experience a World of Good with G Adventures on any of its tours

“Last year we challenged travellers to take their next step and head overseas with G Adventures. The campaign was incredibly successful and three lucky winners won trips to Mexico, Peru and Haiti. This year we are showing travellers how travelling with us is so much more than a holiday, our tours help support the local people and communities they will meet on their journey,” Piotto explained.

With the very ethics to change the world, G Adventures uses local business and services where it can, from the biggest cities to the most remote of villages so more travel dollars stay where travellers spend them, allowing the communities to grow and strengthen.

The winner will find themselves on a trip that includes a visit to a G Adventures-supported women’s weaving project and lunch at the G Adventures-supported Sacred Valley Community Restaurant in Huchuy Qosco, an indigenous village, before travellers begin hiking the Inca Trail.

Both projects are part of the company’s G for Good initiative which has introduced 35 community development projects into over 175 itineraries around the world, helping benefit indigenous people, empower marginalized women, and grant disadvantaged youth access to education, employment, and brighter futures.
