City breaks reimagined by Trafalgar

The format of the city break itinerary has had an overhaul over at Trafalgar with guests in search of a more in-depth experience in mind.

Under the changes, the Trafalgar City Breaks  are now called City Explorers with itineraries available in London, Paris and Rome.

“They have changed completely now,” managing director Matthew Cameron-Smith told Travel Weekly. “It’s about all the things you would want to do, but we actually make it easier for you.”

For example, the London offering includes a stay at The Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch, a fully guided experience behind the scenes at Westminster with a pre-loaded Oyster card also thrown in so you can explore in your own time as well. The Be My Guest experience is at Gordon Ramsay’s brand new restaurant.

“So, it’s all about having a proper experience,” Cameron-Smith continued. “It makes it a bit easier and also locks in the rates so you’re not at the mercy of dynamic pricing.”
