Topdeck promises new approach to Asia

Topdeck promises new approach to Asia

Strong demand for travel to Asia has seen youth operator Topdeck expand its program into the continent.

From April, it will operate itineraries in Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos and Cambodia.

The move is part of a “bigger growth plan” to cater to the demands of the youth travel market and is in line with the findings of its recent Global Youth Travel Survey, according to global brand director Sarah Clark.

“Our Asia trip range was prompted by the strong demand from our customers for short haul holiday options that were not only affordable, but also easily accessible from Australia,” she said.

“We’ve seen a gap in the market for the travel style that suits smaller group sizes of 18 to 39 year olds looking for adventure, local experiences and premium product.”

Local guides, use of relevant vehicles and a surprisingly diverse range of accommodation are all hallmarks of the Topdeck approach, Clark continued.

“This is Asia like we’ve never seen it before,” she promised.

“We’re the first to launch a product of this style in this location – it’s a picture of what is yet to come with Topdeck”.
