If you only do one day tour in New Zealand…

The Travel Corporation’s Great Escape is so hot right now, with AAT Kings shaking up the Great American road trip with a stopover in NZ.

Before hopping off a plane at LAX much like a young Miley Cyrus, AAT is taking agents on a culinary, cultural and creative journey through Middle Earth.

Day 1 is a culinary feast at one of Auckland’s hottest hotels and restaurants, and Day 2? Well, we hope you like Hobbits…

And if you haven’t jumped in the running to be on this incredible agent mega famil, we think it’s about time you get onboard.

This morning you’re transferred to Air New Zealand for our special breakfast venue and presentation. After breakfast, agents enjoy an Auckland City Sightseeing tour, including views of the Harbour Bridge, Viaduct Harbour and Bastian Point.

Later, journey to Waiheke Island, renowned for its beautiful vineyards, olive groves and beaches, this island has something for everyone.

Boasting a thriving local art scene, secluded sandy beaches and a range of adventure activities. You’ll be treated to a wine tasting and platter lunch before returning to Auckland.

This afternoon you’ll follow the Waikato River, New Zealand’s longest river into the heart of Middle Earth – and visit Hobbiton, home of the Hobbits and the scene for the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies.

Take a look at Bag End, where Frodo and Bilbo’s adventures began. Get lost among the hobbit holes and visit the mill and the Party Tree. Listen to spell-binding tales of how Hobbiton came to be.

At the end of the tour step inside the bar at The Green Dragon Inn and you are immediately transported to Middle-Earth.  The interior of the inn is an exact reproduction of that which featured in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy.

The Southfarthing range is traditionally brewed for Hobbiton Movie Set, right here in Middle-Earth™, New Zealand. Served from the barrels of The Green Dragon Inn, our Southfarthing range captures the taste of The Shire™, home of the Hobbits.

Choose from ales, cider and ginger beer while wandering the market stalls and food and wine stations on our exclusive Hobbiton experience.
