Helloworld heads to HK for summit

Helloworld is heading to Hong Kong next month, with leadership on the brain.

The topic of leadership will be the focus for the 2015 helloworld for business Summit, being held on May 1-2, with a who’s who of Australia’s most influential and accomplished leaders and experts in attendance.

Previously known as the Corporate Symposium, the conference has been renamed and revitalised to deliver a greater alignment with member agents’ needs and market opportunities.

“Our theme of leadership this year reflects the reality that we partner with the best and that our agents are keen to foster and support leadership within their own teams,” head of associate and affiliate networks David Padman said.

“Our keynote speakers and Summit Agenda will provide delegates with tangible steps to cementing the Leadership mentality within their teams as well as strategies to drive their own business success within the current climate.”

“The Summit workshops will review market trends and opportunities at an individual business level and help delegates map their own roadmap to success.”

Leading travel industry veteran and MD of Phocuswright, Tony D’Astolfo is a keynote speaker and will be presenting invaluable industry insight.

Managing director of Twitter Australia, Karen Stocks will also be sharing her knowledge and providing delegates with some valuable tips on how to unlock the power of social media.

The first Australian in 40 years to receive a Victoria Cross for Gallantry, Mark Donaldson VC will inspire attendees and explain how communication is to the success of any plan.

Also motivating those at the conference will be one of Australia’s leading economists and finance reporters for Channel 9’s Today Show Ross Greenwood, and entrepreneur, co-founder of Wizard Home Loans, Brad Seymour.

“Our Summit is a powerful professional and networking resource for our Member agents and their businesses and a valuable platform for our network as a whole,” Padman added.

Qantas is the major Summit Sponsor. Additional sponsor support comes from Covermore, United, British Airways, China Southern Airlines, Malaysia Airlines and Etihad Airways.
