Travelport addresses Flight Centre gathering
By admin

Travelport president and chief executive Gordon Wilson recently held a presentation for a group of Flight Centre’s global senior leaders as part of Flight Centre’s Annual Global Gathering.

The yearly gathering was held in Macau, and allowed Wilson to discuss significant global trends shaping the travel landscape, and how this would impact retail and corporate travel.

Flight Centre’s Annual Global Gathering recognises top achievers in the company, and this year hosted over 3500 guests.

The Macau event provided educational sessions for employees, as well as celebrating achievements of the company.

Wilson spoke to the group about how Travelport has worked with Flight Centre as the agency transitions into a more professional travel retailer.

Travelport has also been Flight Centre’s preferred travel technology provider for over 25 years, and was a major sponsor of this year’s gathering.

Flight Centre managing director Graham Turner said the technology used by Travelport has helped Flight Centre to grow its business over the years.

“Our teams work very closely in a partnership approach to ensure both companies are aligned in strategy, enabling us to succeed,” Turner said.
