AOT Group has confirmed that ATS Pacific New Zealand general manager, Stuart Neels, will be become ATS Pacific's new group general manager, subject to the completion of AOT’s acquisition of the business at the end of September.

The $5.2 million deal for the Jetset Travelworld inbound division was announced at the end of August.

Neels will move from Auckland to Sydney to take up the role on November 1.

 

Luxury Northern Territory property Cicada Lodge has launched a new website at the address www.cicadalodge.com.au

Cicada Lodge is wholly Indigenous owned and the website will promote the total experience, including culture.

“The new Cicada Lodge website is a one-stop shop allowing guests to view the facilities and accommodation, the touring options, dining choices, package selection, best times to travel  – and to book direct at the click of a button," Cicada Lodge general manager Nikki Allison said.

 

Aeromexico has introduced a Boeing 787 Dreamliner to its fleet making it the first Mexican carrier to offer the new aircraft.

“We as Mexicans should be proud of the fact that this is the first time a domestic carrier will operate an airplane many other global carriers do not have,” Grupo Aerom√©xico CEO Andr√©s Conesa said.

Economy class has extra legroom and business class has 32 seats with 180 degree full-flat bed.

 

Seabourn has launched Extended Explorations, a lengthier cruise option for 2014-15 that links itineraries for sailing from 28 days to 116 days.

“A lot of travellers prefer a long, leisurely voyage, and they also love the idea of really exploring a particular part of the world,” Seabourn senior marketing and sales vice president John Delaney said. 

"We have Extended Explorations in Africa, Asia, the South Pacific and South America and Antarctica that really pack a lot of port content into the time," Delaney said.
