Adelaide adds a touch of Sage

Adelaide today rolls out the red carpet for SilverNeedle Hospitality’s latest hotel.

The new 4-star Sage Hotels launches today, replacing the former 138-room Grand Chifley, bringing with it the brand promise of The Complex Made Simple, The Simple Made Special.

Guests of Sage Hotels can expect a focus on guests’ desire for simplicity and convenience, with personalised service and highly trained staff a key component of the new property.

“Service is one of the key pillars on which the Sage Hotels™ brand is built on,” SilverNeedle’s managing director and Group ceo Iqbal Jumabhoy said.

“We also focus on Place – a home away from home– where there is a sense of familiarity with products and services, and Community where our guests can engage with us and enjoy a level of comfort that can only be experienced among neighbours and friends.”

Sage Hotels guests will also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi in their rooms, mini bar offerings at prices similar to local convenient stores, as well as laundry services comparable to street pricing as part of SNH’s Fair Value Promise.

“We are honoured to be the first Sage Hotels property in Australia,” Sage Hotel Adelaide’s general manager Roger Law said.

“It’s testament to the infrastructure development and confidence in the Adelaide tourism industry that SNH launched the brand in this city.”

“Sage Hotels customers like to find everything just as they expect – no surprises, no fancy gadget, just a reassuring experience. This starts from the moment of booking right through to check-out. We are all about ease of use and the promise that the service will over-deliver to our guests’ expectations without being pretentious.”

The Sage Hotels property location has been a part of the Adelaide landscape for decades and is already a well-known site for many who have been regular visitors.

Its location, in relation to both the CBD and Greenhill Road business hubs, makes it suitable for the business traveller, while the parklands opposite, the tram within walking distance and city location provide a convenient destination for leisure guests.

Guests who make their reservations through the SilverNeedle Hotels website, or directly with the hotel, will be enrolled into SilverNeedle Select, the new frequent guest rewards programme developed by SNH, where they can earn $ilver Dollars that can be redeemed for a wide range of rewards.

The Chifley Wollongong is the next property in SNH’s pipeline to be rebranded to Sage Hotel Wollongong in August. In a busy period for the brand, this will also be followed by the opening of a new-build Sage Hotels in West Perth in 2016.
