Wendy Wu Tours’ Aussie boss exits after less than three months

Exit sign

Wendy Wu Tours has announced its Australian general manager, Troy Ackerman, has left the wholesaler with immediate effect.

Troy Ackerman

Ackerman joined Wendy Wu Tours in October 2019 from Globus, where he was the company’s Kiwi GM for more than six-and-a-half years.

Wendy Wu Tours founder Wendy Wu said: “We sincerely thank Troy for his commitment, support and dedication to the business and wish him all the very best for his next role.”

The wholesaler’s finance director, Lauren Wardle has taken on the role of acting GM.

Ackerman’s sudden departure follows that of Wendy Wu Tours global CEO Joe Karbo in July last year.
