Vietjet has two million flights on sale from $200

Ho Chi Minh city, July 22nd 2020: An Airbus A321NX of Vietjet Air was departing from runway 25L of Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

To celebrate the upcoming Vietnam National Day on 2 September, Vietjet is offering a fantastic deal for travellers from Australia to take advantage of up to two million tickets starting at AU$200.

The  promotion will be available from 16 to 22 August 2023, and tickets can be purchased on the Vietjet website or via the Vietjet Air mobile app for travel during the period of 6 September 2023 to 31 March 2024.

The promo tickets apply to existing routes that connect Australia (Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City), as well as routes originating from Vietnam to various destinations, such as India, Kazakhstan, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong (China), and Southeast Asia.

The Vietnam National Day sale also coincides with the government’s recent announcement to further ease the country’s entry restrictions to boost tourism.

Effective immediately, citizens from all countries and territories will be eligible for multiple-entry e-visas, valid for 90 days. This marks a significant shift, as Vietnam only previously offered 30-day single-entry e-visas to citizens from 80 countries since reopening its borders in the wake of the pandemic.

In addition, Vietjet also announced the launch of two new routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Jakarta (Indonesia) and Kochi (India), the airline has also increased the frequency of its Hanoi to Bangkok (Thailand) route, making it easier for travellers from Australia to explore Asian destinations at affordable prices onboard a modern fleet of aircraft.

Vietjet continues to rapidly expand its international network and recently released its 1HFY ’23 figures which indicate a strong position for the carrier.

In the first half of 2023, Vietjet achieved a consolidated revenue of VND29,770 billion (AUD $8.36b) – a remarkable 87per cent year-on-year and surpassing the H1 target by 120 per cent.
