Topdeck unlocks ‘Your Topdeck Experience’
Topdeck, the provider of ‘Feel Real’ group travel for 18–39-year-olds, today announces the launch of Your Topdeck Experience, an enhanced feature through the Topdeck APP which includes access to new Experience maps curated by City Insiders.
With the addition of these enhancements, Topdeck is revolutionising the perception that group tours are ‘all the same’ through the transformation of how they create, activate and communicate in-destination recommendations.
The innovative platform now features 21 interactive maps that each provide comprehensive recommendations and must-dos from local City Insiders on the ground, in 21 cities across the globe; Christchurch, Queenstown, Las Vegas, New York City, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Amsterdam, Paris, Venice, Berlin, London, Lisbon, Budapest, Prague, Barcelona, Rome, Split, Reykjavik, Athens, Istanbul and Tokyo. With more cities to be added in the coming months.
Through Your Topdeck Experience, Topdeckers can browse a selection of categories including Catch it Quick (time sensitive events/festivals), Take a Bite (dining options), Say Cheers (drinking hotspots), Grab a Coffee (for caffeine fixes and people watching), Entertain Me (all entertainment options), Culture Fix (must-see historical and cultural sights), Take a Snap (the best Instagrammable viewpoints), Shop Around (the top shopping areas), and Back to Nature (wildlife and nature locations). The Trip Leader
Rates tab details personal recommendations from expert Topdeck Trip Leaders, who have tried and tested it all whilst unequivocally understanding what a Topdeck customer would like to experience.
Experience maps, activities and suggestions will be shown on the customer’s daily itinerary on the Topdeck App for all booked trips that include our selected destinations. The Topdeck APP is available to download on App Store and Google Play.
David Gendle, GM Sales at Global Touring said: “We have carefully selected local experts in our most popular cities so our customers can get recommendations and top tips anytime they want to. Our City Insiders know the type of experiences Topdeckers are looking for and have used their local knowledge to curate a vast array of on-trend experiences, so customers can maximize their time in their chosen city.
Alongside our included activities, optional experiences and expert Trip Leaders recommendations, our City Insiders help us to offer a travel experience that’s uniquely tailored to every single Topdecker. We want to go beyond simply offering more excursions or optional excursions.
We want to empower our customers to experience the destination how they want to. Our goal with introducing our city insiders is to feed our customers fresh and exciting experiences that are relevant to them.”
Whatsmore Topdeck is also offering customers up to 20 per cent off selected trips for 2024 when booked by 22 November, offering customers a great deal to experience it all in 2024.
