Launching today, Flight Centre’s Big Red Sale is around its biggest yet and will be welcome news to anyone juggling travel plans with cost of living pressures.

Flight Centre Global Managing Director Andrew Stark said the timing of the sale reflected a return to familiar patterns but in a more constrained consumer environment.

“With everyone having got post-Covid revenge travel out of their systems, globally we’re seeing travel demand returning to seasonal trends despite a certain amount of household belt-tightening,” he said.

“Customers are telling us they’re prepared to forego other spending for the sake of their travel plans, so our Big Red Sale is designed to make that decision to take a much-needed holiday easier.”

Flight Centre’s Big Red Sale runs 1 – 30 November with sizeable savings on a range of products including flights, holidays, cruises and tours.

Mr Stark said the sale comprised a huge range of deals with some of the biggest savings the travel giant had ever been able to draw together at the same time.

“For example, we have a Fiji family getaway deal staying 7-nights at Naviti Resort with a bonus value of $2199 per family,” he said.

    Other deals include:

    • $2800 bonus value per couple staying 7-nights at the 5-star Siyam World Maldives (Deal available from 1 – 30 November).
    • A family of four stay on the Gold Coast for under $200 per night (Deal available from 1 – 30 November).
    • Save up to $2,038 on a 22-day Britain & Ireland discovery tour (Deal available from 4 – 18 November)
    • 50 per cent off selected Norwegian Cruise Line cruises (Deals available from 2- 15 November)

“We’re also keeping a few deals under wraps for now, including some right here in Australia, a few Northern Hemisphere deals, business class airfares and more. Really the only thing not on sale are flights to Mars.”

“This sale certainly lives up to Flight Centre’s current catch-cry of ‘Deals for Everyone’. We’ve pulled out all the stops to ensure we’ve launched a sale that’ll pop. We’re painting November red!” Mr Stark said.
