The grey sandy dunes have been forming over millions of years and are rich with archaeological history. The dunes are windblown and rugged, spanning 5km long and 1km wide. This is one of Fiji’s natural highlights and visitors can explore the Dunes on a one or two-hour walking course. While exploring, many visitors see ancient pottery and tools scattered in the sand.

Village Visits

Visiting a traditional village in Fiji is the best way to understand the culture. The Fijians are a warm and friendly people and they often make guests feel at home with a traditional welcoming ceremony. The villages are very scenic and many still have the traditional thatch bures (houses).
