Collette shares outlook going into its 105th season

At a gathering of industry colleagues at its new share-space offices in central Sydney, Collette provided an optimistic outlook for its 105th season.

Staffing to support Australian agents continues to grow with Collette’s call-centre boasting wait times of less than 2-minutes. In addition, there is a new local air team to enable agents to have a ‘one-stop-shop’ for its guests. The team has embraced remote working and has team members across the country.

New to David Farrar’s sales team is Linda Seiersen – business development manager for North New South Wales who joins with more than a decade of industry experience in the cruise sector.

New to Roger Clulow’s Australian-based product team is Melbourne-based Paula Harrigan who joined as product manager at the end of 2022 to work with domestic suppliers on Collette’s inbound program to Australia and New Zealand together with Asia and African tours.

Plus from 30 January, Collette is partnering with TravelPay to offer agents another payment option.

Collette continues to add to its small group Explorations program (max 24 guests). New is the 15-day Mediterranean Coastal Journey from Barcelona to Tuscany.

“We’re delighted that the only reference to contagious now is the energy in the company to deliver superb tours to guests and excellent training and support for our partners,” head of sales, David Farrar said.

“There are thousands of guaranteed tours and departures with dates through to May 2024. We’re especially thrilled with the Feefo results considering the various logistical challenges in 2022. Plus an easy payment option with TravelPay and the included 24-hour cancel for any reason waiver means agents can book their clients in complete confidence.”
