Hawaiian Airlines presents ‘Winederland’ at the 2018 Hawaii Food & Wine Festival
Hawaiian Airlines will again have a significant presence at the annual Hawaii Food & Wine Festival (HFWF) which, since its launch in 2011, has become the premier epicurean destination event in the Pacific.
The festival features more than 150 internationally renowned chefs, culinary personalities, winemakers and mixologists. HFWF is a program of not-for-profit organisation, the Hawaii Ag and Culinary Alliance.
Its mission is to attract national and international attention to the extraordinary culinary talent and the diversity of quality locally grown products to ensure Hawaii maintains its competitive edge as a world-class destination.

Sydney Kings to face LA Clippers in Hawaii for NBA pre-season game
Hawaii will be welcoming the Sydney Kings and LA Clippers in an the NBA and NBL pre-season game at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 30.
The game against the Clippers will be the culmination of an exciting pre-season of matches that the Sydney Kings are in the final stages of planning. The NBA pre-season announcement is another indication of the growing credibility and interest that the NBL is attracting in Australia and around the World.
There were a record-tying eight Australian players on 2017-18 opening night NBA rosters this year, including NBA Rookie of Year, Ben Simmons, Joe Ingles, Dante Exum and our very own Andrew Bogut. Seven Australian players and one New Zealander were on team rosters for the 2018 NBA Playoffs.

Hawaiian Airlines new A321 Neo Aircraft
Hawaiian Airlines has begun welcoming a new fleet of Airbus A321 neo aircraft, servicing the West Coast and the Neighbour Islands. This medium-haul, single aisle aircraft complements the larger A330 aircraft that serve the most in-demand Mainland and International routes. Considered the most fuel efficient aircraft of its type, the A321neo aircraft accommodates 189 guests with 16 in Business Class, 44 in Extra Comfort and 128 in Economy.
Guests can enjoy wireless streaming in-flight entertainment to their own personal devices during the flight via the Hawaiian Airlines streaming app.
Design elements reference traditional Hawaiian crafts, from bark cloth (kapa) to fishing nets. The full LED mood-lighting system evokes Hawaii’s sunrises and sunsets. And details such as Hawaiian language used in signage, as well as custom floor and wall surfaces, help transport guests to Hawai‘i long before they land.
