ANA celebrated at the SKYTRAX World Airline Awards

ANA, Japan’s only 5-star airline, has been named the leading airline in two categories at the prestigious 2016 World Airline Awards hosted by SKYTRAX.

The awards for “World’s Best Airport Services” and “Best Airline Staff in Asia” were presented in a special ceremony at the Farnborough International Airshow.

These achievements recognise ANA’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional levels of customer service and a superior air travel experience, prioritising passenger comfort, convenience and safety. The SKYTRAX World Airline Awards are determined by the results of an online survey completed by passengers worldwide.

This is the fifth time ANA has received the ‘World’s Best Airport Services’ award and the fourth consecutive year it has won in this category. It is also the third time ANA has been commended with the ‘Best Airline Staff in Asia’ award and the second consecutive year it has won in this category.

The ‘World’s Best Airport Services’ award is presented to the airline that receives the highest level of customer satisfaction across a full range of airport services. It recognises the high quality of service provided by ANA staff across its 40 destination cities worldwide. ANA endeavours to provide personalised customer service, tailoring its approach to individual customer needs at all stages of the airport experience, including the check-in counter, lounges and at the boarding gate.

SKYTRAX commended ANA for exceeding all other airlines headquartered in Asia to provide the best customer service both on the ground and in the air.

Mr. Osamu Shinobe, President and CEO of ANA, commented on the awards: “ANA is committed to becoming the world’s leading airline and providing all passengers with a superior air travel experience. We are focused on providing a personalised, high-quality service which ensures the comfort and safety of all our customers. I would like to thank all our staff for their hard work and dedication which enables us to provide an exceptional level of service in every airport and on every ANA flight, and I would like to thank all our customers for voting for us and for choosing to fly ANA.”
