Top-selling leisure consultants were treated to an action packed four-day challenge in Hong Kong thanks to Qantas Holidays, Qantas Airways and the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Divided into four teams the 72 leisure consultants from Helloworld, Harvey World Travel, Jetset, Travelworld and Travelscene, had their navigation skills, stamina and team spirit put to the test in a series of challenges that included a Lion Dance contest, Amazing-race style Hong Kong discovery challenge, a Dim Sum cook off and a test of courage at either Disneyland or Ocean Park.

Manager of national industry sales at Qantas Holidays, Fiona Dalton, says the famil represented a creative way to promote Hong Kong as a diverse destination while investing in learning and development for consultants.

"Our Race Around Hong Kong proved to be an incredible and fun way to showcase Hong Kong's cosmopolitan vibe and its dozens of attractions to consultants. Our consultants travelled to every corner of this inspiring and thriving city, experiencing all its delights, having a great time and learning about the destination along the way," she said.

"Events like this provide our consultants with a depth of experience, knowledge and confidence that is second to none.

The event concluded with a Gala Dinner on Sunday night where Team Fuschia was crowned the victor by Andrew Clark, regional director at the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
