Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo has announced it will feature ‘Hello Kitty’ rooms as of November 1, with the furniture and interiors to incorporate images of the renowned character.

The rooms will come in two types, with the ‘Kitty Town’ rooms reflecting a pop-art style, while the ‘Princess Kitty’ rooms are designed to imitate a fairytale princess vibe.

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts have announced it will manage the 432-room Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I in Barcelona, Spain, set to be officially rebranded in 2015.

As part of an agreement with development partners Barcelona Projects and JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group, the property will undergo an extensive renovation, with the hotel set to remain open throughout the revitalisation period.

Member for South Brisbane Jackie Trad officially opened Quest Services Apartments’ Quest Woolloongabba, the newest addition to its Queensland network.

A cocktail party was held on the rooftop with city views to launch the apartments, with Quest Serviced Apartments now featuring 13 properties across the state, with more in the pipeline to open over the next financial year.

APT has announced it is introducing its Freedom of Choice touring concept across all Kimberley Wilderness Adventures tours of 11 days or more, as part of its new small group 4WD program in 2015.

Guests will now have the opportunity to choose their sightseeing activities across destinations such as Kununurra, El Questro Wilderness Park and Wyndham, allowing travellers to adjust their tours to suit their needs.

Sinalei Premium Villas are nearing the date on which phase one of construction of 11 villas and common facilities will commence.

The overall Sinalei premium villa development will include 27 two-bedroom courtyard villas, with swimming pools, cooking facilities, and gardens, giving travellers the chance to become an owner of the villa, with a seven-year average return on investment, with over 43% of villa revenue paid to owners.

Nikko Hotels International has announced it will open Hotel Nikko Guangzhou in the capital city of China’s Guangdong Province in November.

The property will be located within easy access to Guangzhou Science city, International Exhibition Centre and the international airport, with the aim to establish a base for business travellers.

The property will be 15-stories, and will feature 400 rooms, banquet and business rooms, spa and fitness and six dining facilities.

Insight Vacations has partnered with Singapore Airlines to offer early bird deals to Europe in 2015, starting at $1515 return, with the offer available when combined with an Insight Vacations tour in either Europe or Britain.

Travellers who book from a selection of itineraries by December 18 will also be eligible for additional early payment discounts, with tours spanning across destinations like Istanbul, Barcelona and Copenhagen.

Air Tickets along with Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Administration and China Eastern Airlines recently hosted a group of helloworld agents to experience an educational  trip along the Grand Canal from Suzhou to Xuzhou in the province of Jiangsu China.

Since the Song Dynasty more than 1300 years ago, the ancient town of Tongli in Suzhou has been a popular spot for tourists, just 80km outside of Shanghai.
