Quest Serviced Apartments has revealed plans to open five properties across Queensland in the next 12 months, taking its number in the state to 16.

It will open properties in Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville Woolloonhabba and Upper Mt Gravatt which combined will offer 1300 apartments.

Speaking at the opening of Quest in Breakfast Creek today, chairman Paul Constantinou said: "A general shortage of quality accommodation for business travellers has prompted us to fast-track our plans to open more properties in the next 12 months, with further expansion in the pipeline."

 

Fraser Hospitality is set to open a 236-residence apartment hotel in Perth later this month. The firm said it will be the firrst five star, all-suite apartment to be built in the city in more than 10 years.

 

Travel agents can receive up to 1000 bonus TRIP points on all eligible US bookings with Viva! Holidays booked and deposited between now and May 24 for travel until November 28.
