New bar comes to The Rocks

New bar comes to The Rocks
By admin

Hot on the heels of the announcement of new executive chef Chris Irving, Pier One Sydney Harbour are also launching a new dining destination to open mid December.

The Gantry Restaurant & Bar is located in The Rocks, with a stunning contemporary vibe that reflects the historic location.

The Gantry harks back to the original structures on Pier One, which served to connect the city with North Sydney prior to the completion of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

A cultural hub rich in history as well as a vibrant harbourside setting, The Gantry Restaurant & Bar is located within Pier One Sydney Harbour hotel.

While Pier One has been adapted into a stunning hotel, neighbouring maritime wharves have become home to unique performing arts theatres and venues, such as Bangarra Dance Theatre and Sydney Theatre Company.

Owner Robert Magid says The Gantry will blend modern design with nods to the past.

“As the signature restaurant of Australia’s inaugural Autograph Collection hotel, we look forward to offering guests an unsurpassed dining and drinking experience combined with the finest views Sydney has to offer.”

The restaurant will feature market fresh and seasonal produce, with chefs preparing the dishes around the Chef’s Table in the dining room, where guests are invited to select their seafood and see the open kitchen up close.

Have a peak at what the swanky new restaurant and bar is bringing to town.
