The challenge for the industry is… Keeping up with trends and changes to society and the environment.

The things I like about my job are… The diversity; no two days are the same. Also working alongside great people and being part of industry full of professionals from so many different cultures and backgrounds.

And the frustrations… I haven’t found one yet!

If I didn’t work in travel I would be a… Food critic. Or a famous DJ, playing at arenas around the world (currently listening to Amin’s A State of Trance!). Or a professional figure ice skater competing in the winter Olympics.

Qantas or Virgin? Both. They are both great airlines with a broad range of long haul destinations.

My proudest moment was… Moving and working overseas because it made me independent. The time away from home moulded me to where I am today and also appreciate the family and friends who have always stood by me.

The naughtiest thing I ever did was… Too inappropriate to publish here!

I try to relax by… Listening to chill-out trance music, sleeping, or catching up on my favourite tv shows.

The last time I feared for my life… Was the last time a spider appeared in my line of vision. I have an immense fear of them.

If I can, I always try to avoid… Rush hour, both on the road driving and on Sydney’s public transport.

I really wish I had… Neater hand writing.

The best advice I’ve ever received was… I have two. ‘Never commit fashion faux pas, everyone will remember you for it’. And ‘live and be in the now, worry about the future when it comes, its tomorrow problem’.

I don’t understand why… Time goes by so quickly sometimes and why time goes so slowly sometimes.

My greatest weakness is… Food glorious food.

And my greatest strength… Being able to eat all the glorious food and not worry about skipping classes at the gym.  I have a fast metabolism.

If I was prime minister I would… Make four day working weeks and 3 day weekends!

If I won $1 million on the lottery I would… Go on a holiday, and then hire a really good financial planner and make more money.

If I could be someone else for one day I would be… One of the staff looking after the pandas at the Panda Research Base in Chengdu. I recently travelled to see the pandas before they become extinct, it was a very surreal moment sitting next to, feeding and hugging them.

I’ve always wanted to travel to… The Amalfi Coast. And to go scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef!
