The challenge for the industry is…To make it easy for customers to find the best deals in a world where they have an almost bewildering range of options. The number of resources available can induce ‘analysis paralysis’ – we are continuously striving to make our user journey inspirational, slick and intuitive.

The things I like about my job are…Being able to indulge my passion for travel on a daily basis, and working with amazing colleagues all over the world in a truly dynamic business.

And the frustrations…selling holidays to so many exotic destinations, my wish list of places to explore just keeps on growing, but escaping the office is something of a challenge!

If I didn’t work in travel I would be a…Chef.

Qantas or Virgin? Whichever offers the best deals.

My proudest moment was…Achieving my MBA after studying and working at the same time

The naughtiest thing I ever did was… Quit my job and travel around the world backpacking for a year  – and I did that twice!

I try to relax by… Cooking up a curry.

The last time I feared for my life… On a white knuckle bus ride from Mombasa to Nairobi.

If I can, I always try to avoid…Missing out on a good nights’ sleep.

I really wish I had… Kept practicing French.

The best advice I’ve ever received was…Expect the unexpected.

I don’t understand why…People love sushi.

My greatest weakness is…A good Caipirinha.

And my greatest strength…My relentlessly positive outlook.

If I was prime minister I would…Give everyone a day off on their birthday.

If I won $1 million on the lottery I would… Buy a gorgeous house.

If I could be someone else for one day I would be…A lady of leisure.

I’ve always wanted to travel to….India.

My favourite holiday was….Sailing around the Greek Islands .
