Europcar signs Snowy Mountains deal

Europcar signs Snowy Mountains deal
By admin

In an exclusive partnership, Europcar and Tourism Snowy Mountains have teamed up to make it easier than ever to road trip through the Snowy Mountains region, which extends from Canberra to the highest peaks of NSW and south to Monaro Plains.

Despite the wintry name, Tourism Snowy Mountains executive officer Neil Thew has stated the destination is equally as popular and entertaining during warmer months.

“Whether it’s enjoying world-class mountain bike or road bike trails, going bushwalking, hiking or fly fishing, participating in summer sports at our alpine resorts, trekking to the top of Mount Kosciuszko, or indulging at the Kosciuszko Brewery or one of our many wineries, the Snowy Mountains region is a diverse and rich holiday destination for spring and summer,” he said.

Europcar national marketing manager Angela Spencer is also encouraging holiday-goers to enjoy all the region has to offer, following the signing of the one-year partnership with Tourism Snowy Mountains.

“The Snowy Mountains region is easily accessible and offers activities and attractions for people seeking outdoor experiences from cycling, skiing and bushwalking, to food and wine, arts and culture,” Spencer said.

“Europcar is proud to partner with Tourism Snowy Mountains to help tourists enjoy this fantastic destination.”

As part of the partnership, Europcar will feature as the exclusive sponosor of Tourism Snowy Mountains, and a pivotal partner in a series of touring routes on offer in the region, including the Kosciuszko Alpine Way, the Snowy Valleys Way and the Snowy Mountains Highway.

“We are all about outdoor, active lifestyle pursuits here in the Snowy Mountains and Europcar has the same philosophy, with their bike carrier vehicles to be available from Canberra airport in early 2015,” Thew said.
