Cruise Holidays has appointed Don Clark to the role of business development director, a well known cruise industry executive

Cruise Holidays is North America's oldest cruise franchisor and was launched in Australia in January this year in conjunction with Cruise Mart.

"Don Clark is an experienced executive widely respected within the cruise and travel industry," Cruise Holidays managing director Les Farrar said.

Clark will help market the brand, which offers a cruise-specific technology and marketing platform.

"We have a unique suite of systems to support and develop our agents' businesses… our challenge at this stage is to communicate and demonstrate this advantage to the trade," Farrar added.

"Cruise Holidays is a hugely successful business in North America and the challenge of helping to replicate this in Australia is one I'm really excited about," Clark said.

Clark will begin his role on July 1.
