A win for home-based TravelManagers
By admin

History was made at the 2014 National Travel Industry Awards, with a winner announced from the increasingly popular home-based consulting segment of travel distribution for the first time.

Personal travel manager Ric Pattaro has been recognized as the top corporate consultant in Australia, winning the ‘best travel consultant – corporate’ category at this year’s industry awards.

“I am absolutely thrilled yet humbled to be recognised as Australia’s best corporate consultant. I love what I do so to win this award is really an honour” said Pattaro.

Pattaro who joined TravelManagers in March 2008 with not one client to his name, attributes providing exceptional service as the key to his success.

“Service is the key and genuinely looking out for what is in my clients’ best interests. Being my own boss as a personal travel manager allows me the freedom and flexibility to provide individual tailor-made experiences and I believe is what sets a personal travel manager apart from a traditional travel agent” said Pattaro.

Pattaro’s success is also a win for the home-based consultant segment and all TravelManagers’ personal travel managers.

“Ric’s success further highlights the growing dominance of the home-based travel consulting segment and an acclamation of TravelManagers as Australia’s market leader in the rapidly growing home-based consulting segment,” said Michael Gazal, TravelManagers’ executive general manager.
