    Link Travel Group, has expanded its membership by announcing no fewer than four new agencies to join its ranks in the coming months.

    Maxims Travel (Sydney), Solve Travel Management (Sydney), Mettrex Travel (Melbourne) and Lexus Travel (Melbourne) will all join this invitation-only collective by the first of July.

    In addition to joining as a member of Link Travel Group, Maxims Travel’s managing director, Chris
    Goddard, will join the organisation’s advisory board.

    “Naturally we are delighted to welcome these four high-performing agencies with stellar reputations, who will be great additions to our membership,” GM, Link Travel Group, Scott Darlow, said.

    “Today’s announcement is the first stage of our growth plan which we unveiled to our preferred partners in November last year.”

    “Chris will be a fantastic addition to our Advisory Board, and his experience in global travel affairs will
    no doubt benefit all our members.

    “He’ll occupy the final seat on the Advisory Board and with that we believe we now have the most comprehensive mix of experience, knowledge and diversity within the industry who will assist with guiding and shaping our future”.

    “Our industry is evolving by the day and it’s imperative that we partner with the right collective of like minds to take us all forward into the future,” he said.

    “I’m also humbled to have been invited to join the Link Advisory Board, a who’s who of travel in many respects, and I look forward to playing a part in the future direction of Link”.

    The invite to join Link Travel Group delighted Solve Travel Management’s COO, David Barnett,” Our industry is fast paced and evolving quickly, and we feel that Link offers us the opportunity to tap into new technologies via their expansive ecosystem which are being heavily invested in,” he said.

    “We’re also very excited to once again partner with like-minded people who are heading in the same direction as we are”.

    Mark Reeves, managing director at Mettrex Travel believes that Link’s substantial overall offering is exactly what Mettrex Travel has been looking for.

    Ian Strachan, executive director of Lexus Travel also commented on the invitation.

    “I especially look forward to once again working within a transparent environment where my business interests are front and centre,” Strachan, said.
