Luxury Escapes launches cruise platform amid soaring interest
Edited by Travel Weekly

Luxury Escapes has revealed the launch of a new and dedicated Cruise platform.

The Luxury Escapes’ Cruise platform launches as the cruise industry is experiencing a supercharged resurgence – with up to 60 per cent off retail prices and thousands of itineraries on offer.

With access to exclusive cruise offers, the Luxury Escapes Cruise platform will include a full suite of deals including but not limited to premium international lines Royal Caribbean, Holland America Line, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Celebrity X Cruises and Azamara with more to come.

In September 2022, the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) reported that the demand and perception of cruise holidays are now greater than in 2019. From small ship tours to international voyages, the cruise industry is experiencing a robust resurgence.

With leisure still the primary driver of cruising in 2023, Virgin Voyagers’ Australian debut liner embodies the next-gen of cruise experience. Coming soon to the Luxury Escapes’ Cruise platform, the Resilient Lady features an on-board tattoo parlour, vinyl record store and aptly named Rockstar Suites.

As the cruise industry invests in attracting a new generation of cruisers, the onboard experience is being reimagined in new and improved ways. From better technology that enables easier remote work to an improved focus on sustainability and even year-long residencies on offer, the new wave of cruise ships is accommodating travellers’ shifting preferences and needs.

“Lots of our members love to go on tours where everything is done for you, so we’ve made it even easier for our members to find them,” Luxury Escapes co-founder and CEO, Adam Schwab said.

“We have more choice and flexibility than ever with over 500 curated Tours and Cruises products on Luxury Escapes. An increased demand for luxury small ship cruising will meet the needs of those seeking out more personalised and intimate cruise experiences in the 12 months ahead.”

The announcement of Luxury Escapes’ Cruise platform coincides with the expansion of its Tours platform – highlighted by co-founder and CEO Adam Schwab in the platform’s latest series of brand updates – which sees hundreds of new land tours available to book via Luxury Escapes’ partnership with Travel Corporation.
