A350 soaring above the clouds

A Delta Airlines passengers who waited over a month for the airline to reimburse her for damaged luggage revealed the extravagant compensation she received.

The woman, Giséle Rochefort, took to TikTok where she revealed the 13 packages that arrived to her from Delta Air Lines.

She unpackaged the contents of the boxes to reveal 13 Ricardo Beverly Hills bags.

“I was crying laughing, it felt like an April fools prank,” the TikTok user said.

Rochefort wrote in the comments that her claim took a month to be processed before she was told about the suitcases.

“Apology accepted. They’ve got my loyalty,” she joked.

The video currently has over 1.7 million views, with many in the comments quite shocked at the airline’s generosity.

“All your holiday presents for this year,” one person said.

“This is the kind of apologies I need. Excessive ones,” another said.

“Maybe they’re just prepaying for the next time they damage your bag,” a third person joked. To which Ms Rochefort replied with, “Perhaps they are. Either way, well played.”

At the ordeal, Rochefort said she ended up returning 12 of the suitcases as she “felt guilty.”
