“Give me your name, skunk!”: Travel agent arrested after smoking in business class

A Russian travel agent has been caught on camera smoking in business class on a flight before reportedly attacking a policeman.

Footage taken by a passenger on an Aeroflot flight between Bodrum and Moscow shows a woman blowing cigarette smoke towards the cabin window in her business-class seat and ashing in the aisle, according to Russian news outlet Pravda.

The woman has been identified as Irina Tammiruusu, owner of Tamirusu Travel in Moscow.

A Russian transport police spokesperson told Yahoo News that Tammiruusu also “screamed loudly” during the flight and behaved inappropriately.

Police met the flight upon arrival in Moscow to escort her off the plane, but she allegedly lunged at an officer and began to demand the name of the “dangerous” man.

“Give me your name, scum,” she said.

“Give me your name, skunk….”

Police were reportedly forced to handcuff Tammiruusu to prevent her from harming herself and others.

According to Pravda, Tammiruusu appeared intoxicated during the ordeal and later alleged that a flight attendant had spiked her glass of wine.

The agent told police that she could not remember lighting the cigarette, but if she did, it was to relieve the pain of her broken leg.

“I don’t remember that I lit a cigarette. I could take a cigarette because the smell of cigarette smoke relieves pain,” Tammiruusu said, according to Pravda.

Witnesses told the Russian news outlet that Tammiruusu had a cast on her leg which she removed during the flight.

Tammiruusu said the passengers that filmed her should apologise for their lack of sympathy, and claimed she was attacked at the police station of Sheremetyevo Airport by an officer and a doctor who she said threatened to inject her with something.

“I don’t remember a thing,” she said, according to Yahoo.

“I woke up in a police station, handcuffed in a wheelchair.

“I was told: ‘If you open your mouth again … you will wake up tomorrow in a lunatic asylum and won’t know your own name.”

A criminal case has been opened against Tammiruusu who could face jail time for “hooliganism”.
