Fukuoka celebrates sakura season by adding $500 to its agent incentive

Sakura (cherry blossom) season has officially kicked off, with some of the prettiest flowers blooming throughout Japan.

To celebrate this year’s sakura season, Fukuoka is giving away an extra $500 in the form of two more $250 gift cards, on top of the three $100 gift cards already on offer!

Plus, the destination is introducing a new ‘Refer an agent’ incentive to encourage agents to sign up for its Discover Fukuoka online training course.

The ‘Refer an agent’ incentive gives agents the opportunity to earn bonus entries just by sharing the course with an agent friend, earning one entry per referral for up to three referrals.

Every referred agent who completes the course will also get a bonus entry.

The competition ends on 31 March, so best get in quick to score yourself one of these great prizes. Winners will be selected at random at the end of the month.

To be in with a chance to win, agents must register and complete both modules of the training program.

Created using the OTT – Online Travel Training platform, Fukuoka’s course is targeted at local agents to give them insider knowledge and information on Fukuoka’s key selling points. Agents will discover the highlights of Fukuoka through quizzes, beautiful imagery and videos.

The training covers the four main regions of Fukuoka Prefecture: Fukuoka, including Fukuoka City, and the areas of Chikuho, Kitakyushu and Chikugo. Broken up into two modules, agents can discover tips on getting to Fukuoka, exploring the regions, the spectacular nature and outdoor activities, rich culture and history, buzzing culinary scene, festivals and ancient crafts available throughout the prefecture.
