APT Travel Group has revamped its low-cost brand by introducing a new range of escorted tours across Australia and New Zealand.

Launched only last year to service the three-star market, the TravelGlo brand originally offered curated European rail journeys, but the range has since been enhanced to service the closer to home market.

“We are in the unique position of having 90 plus years’ experience to call on in making TravelGlo a viable option for our travel agent partners and guests,” said David Cox, chief executive of APT Travel Group, said.

“People who chose to travel with TravelGlo will do so with the assurance that their holiday has been organised by the leaders in the industry.”

Cox said there will be more on offer from TravelGlo in the near future, with Asia touring also being developed as well as its existing European range.

There are five of the new Australia and New Zealand trips, giving your clients the opportunity to get back out there in affordable comfort in groups no larger than 48 people on air-conditioned coaches with stays in three- and four-star accommodation.

For example, at just $250 per day, your clients can tag along with the eight-day ‘Tassie Essentials’ tour starting and finishing in Hobart with overnight stops in Queenstown, Launceston, St Helens and Hobart.

With eight departure dates from January to November 2021, this trip includes the island’s key highlights such as Port Arthur, Strahan, Cradle Mountain and Freycinet National Park.

Other new tours include:

  • Seven-day ‘South-West Coast Highlights’, Perth return, priced from $1,899 per person, twin share.
  • Eight-day ‘New Zealand’s South Island’, Christchurch return, priced from $1,799 per person, twin share.
  • Eight-day ‘New Zealand’s North Island’, Auckland return, priced from $1,599 per person, twin share.
  • Seven-day ‘Western Australia’s Golden Outback’, Perth return, priced from $1,699 per person, twin share.
