Aussie cruise dancer creates amazing paper bag outfits while quarantined

Ashleigh Perrie found a unique way to keep occupied in a Perth quarantine hotel.

Perrie, who reportedly works as a dancer on board the MS Zaandam, has taken the internet by storm by showcasing astonishing outfits that she crafted while in quarantine, made entirely out of paper bags and other tidbits found around her hotel room.

According to Perrie, each day she would be delivered three meals in paper bags. So, instead of letting them go to waste – and in a bid to keep herself busy at her quarantine hotel, the Westin Perth – she created a few amazing costumes.

These include a paper ballroom gown, paper tennis clothes and an accompanying paper racket, and paper ballerinas costume, which happily she shared across social media, and in a YouTube video explaining just how the hell she was able to create them.

“I am usually quite a creative person, I love doing art and I studied art for a bit – and obviously we have a lot to do with costuming and design within the theatre industry and within the dance scene – so I do love making bits and pieces,” Perrie, now back home, told CNN Travel.
