#Together4Tourism: Rezdy launches new industry support platform

Small red heart on computer keyboard. Internet dating concept.

An online booking platform has launched a new initiative to help tourism professionals navigate the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Sydney-based Rezdy, a booking and distribution platform for the experiences industry, has set up #Together4Tourism to provide supportive content, resources, tools and tips for the tourism industry.

The free site is designed to give operators advice and tips on everything from for staying afloat in the current climate to operational, marketing and business tools and strategies that can help professionals prepare for the future.

The content will focus on six themes:

  1. Get bookings again
  2. Survive COVID-19
  3. Find offers and online events
  4. Connect with others
  5. Enjoy some good news
  6. Look after yourself

“The experiences industry will not have faced a more challenging situation than it faces with COVID-19. The first focus is to ensure survival, by making the right decisions,” Rezdy CEO Chris Atkin said.

“Very quickly, the focus needs to turn to the positives, how you can take the opportunity to build the foundations for excellence once life begins to return to normal.

“There has never been a more important time to come together as a community to support one another and help each other to get through this.

“The purpose of this initiative is to bring all of those great resources under one banner to create a place where everyone can contribute to the revival of the industry.”

The platform will also host webinars, with the first series featuring Rezdy’s head of product, Simon Mainwaring, providing valuable business tips.
