Hawai‘i Tourism launches #islandsofaloha photo comp for Aussies

They say a picture speaks a thousand words, but have you heard a picture can take you on holiday too?

Hawai‘i Tourism is giving away a luxury trip to the Hawaiian Islands as part of a  newly launched photo competition.

The #islandsofaloha photo competition calls for Aussies to select the best photo they’ve taken in Hawaii and upload to Instagram using the #islandsofaloha hashtag.

Hawai‘i Tourism will select the lucky winner, sending them and a friend on a trip to the luxury Prince Hotel in Waikiki for five nights with return flights from Australia to Honolulu.

For the chance to win, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Choose the most beautiful photo you have taken in Hawaii.
  2. Upload the photo to Instagram with #islandsofaloha in the caption and tag @gohawaiiau in the image. Ensure your profile is set to public.
  3. Have more than one photo of the Hawaiian Islands? The more the merrier! Each unique photo uploaded will count as one entry.

In addition to the luxury trip, Hawai‘i Tourism will be giving away four weekly winners a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses.

Entrants can follow @gohawaiiau on Instagram to stay up to date with notifications and inspiration from the Hawaiian Islands. Click here for more info on the #islandofaloha photo competition.
