Quark’s World Explorer gears up for Antarctic Peninsula voyage

default

After departing Reykjavík, Iceland in August for its first passenger cruise, World Explorer is eagerly preparing for an upcoming maiden voyage to Antarctica.

And to celebrate it, Quark Expeditions is inviting agents to take a virtual tour of World Explorer, ahead of the ship’s maiden voyage to the Antarctic Peninsula in November this year.

As Quark’s first luxury expedition vessel – offering sweet-as guest quarters and amazing off-ship adventure activities, including Antarctic paddle-boarding – World Explorer represents a new level of on-ship luxury for the cruise company.

In addition, World Explorer joins Quark Expeditions’ Antarctic fleet for the coming season, offering distinct, comfortable, refined and roomy attributes. Moreover, the vessel will be among Quark’s fastest and finest, with six tiers of deluxe accommodation.

The addition of World Explorer introduces an all-suite, luxury experience to Quark Expeditions’ portfolio of polar vessels with exceptional personal spaces. Furthermore, all cabins aboard the ship feature a private walk-out or Juliet balcony, giving guests a gold standard polar experience – whether on-board or off – with regular Antarctic views.

World Explorer also delivers plenty of public areas to unwind in after a day outdoors.

These include the glass-domed Observation Lounge for chilling out and full skyline views, the Explorer Lounge for a drink and a chat, and the library for more intimate relaxing and reading.

Presentations and discussions can also be offered in World Explorer’s dedicated lecture theatre.

Moreover, health and wellness facilities provide an extra layer to an active cruise experience and feature an outdoor track, small gym and sauna, plus a spa with change rooms, showers and lockers.

For the active adventurers, add-ons include kayaking, camping and stand-up paddle-boarding – sure to be a top-seller for clients eager to snap the perfect Antarctic landscape shot.

Agents are invited to learn more about World Explorer and to share first-look images of the vessel with their clients by clicking here. Agents are also encouraged to get a wriggle on, as limited cabins are still available for Antarctica 2019-20, so get in touch today.
