ATTN AGENTS: win a great train tour of Germany with THAI

One talented agent will become the 2019 Rail Europe Reporter, winning an all-expenses-paid Great Train Tour of Germany flying THAI.

To qualify, agents will need to demonstrate their social media, photography, vlogging and blogging skills via the Rail Europe Reporter Registration Form, and have scored at least 125 points in the Rail Expert/Module 99 program.

The winning agent will head to Frankfurt or Munich from Australia or New Zealand via Bangkok, Thailand. Throughout the Tour, the agent will document their journey (via photos, vlogs and blogs) from the flight, train services and stops of the DB rail network and the seven nights of hotel accommodation, to the various activities, experiences and highlights along the way.

Submission closes on 31 August 2019 and the trip must take place in September or October 2019. The winning agent will fly THAI to Germany and in 1st class on the DB trains.

Rideshare platform Ola teams up with the Wallabies for new TV campaign

Rideshare platform Ola has launched two new TVCs as the hero creative of an integrated marketing campaign aiming to leverage its new partnership with the Wallabies.

The TVCs, created by Advertising Advantage, feature Wallabies players Nick Phipps, Folau Fainga’a and Bernard Foley, focusing on the excitement in the lead-up to September’s World Cup and highlighting the seamless experience of riding with Ola.

The objective of the campaign is to elevate the partnership and amplify Ola as the Wallabies’ official rideshare partner. The TVCs aim to show fans the variety of offers and extra value they can enjoy with Ola, positioning the brand as the better value rideshare option.

Agents rewarded up to $200 for booking VIA Rail with Great Train Journeys

Until 20 December 2019, agents booking VIA Rail will be rewarded with either $100 MasterCard gift cards for their VIA Rail package booking or a $200 MasterCard gift card for booking selected packages.

The selected itineraries include Mountains, Lakes & Glaciers; Snow Train to the Rockies; Trans Canada Winter Adventure; any VIA Rail package including an Aurora experience in Whitehorse, Churchill or Yellowknife; any VIA Rail package including a wildlife or Town & Tundra package in Churchill; and any VIA Rail package including more than seven nights hotel accommodation with a minimum of one night in Victoria.
